BEIJING, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's leading new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer BYD Company Limited announced on Monday to launch in-car Karaoke interactive entertainment system in some of its NEV models from this year in cooperation with Stingray, a leading music, media, and technology company, reported Shanghai Securities News.
It is learned that BYD's entertainment system, developed in collaboration with Stingray, is designed to support dozens of languages and provide users with a clear and intuitive interface design that allows users to search for songs by title, artist, lyrics or genre, with automatic monthly track updates.
To prioritize safety, BYD and Stingray have implemented a mechanism that deactivates the karaoke lyrics' scrolling function on the central console while the vehicle is in motion, ensuring customer safety.
In addition, passengers can experience the Karaoke function in their mobile devices through a mobile phone application. The system will create a convenient, fun and safe in-vehicle entertainment space for BYD users.
In the future, BYD will accelerate the pace of intelligent development and continue to bring new experiences to users, said Li Ke, Executive Vice President of BYD and CEO of BYD Americas. .
