BEIJING, July 24 (Xinhua) -- The total assets managed by China's public offering funds amounted to 27.69 trillion yuan by the end of June 2023, the Asset Management Association of China said recently.
There are overall 144 fund management companies by the end of June, of which 48 are foreign-funded firms, 96 are domestic companies, according to the association.
At the end of June, a total of 12 securities firms or asset management subsidiaries under securities firms, as well as one insurance asset management company obtained qualifications for the management of public offering funds, the association said.
It is learned that assets under the management of the country’s public offering funds reached 27.77 trillion yuan by the end of May. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
