BEIJING, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Global payment platform PingPong has recently established partnership with AliExpress, a cross-border e-commerce platform under Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group, to provide cross-border payment and collection services, China Securities Journal reported on Monday.
According to the report, Chinese sellers can choose PingPong as their payment collection method in the AliExpress application. After completing the account verification, they can receive payments from overseas sales and withdraw funds in offshore RMB, onshore RMB, and other multiple currencies.
At the same time, PingPong users can also access the corresponding services by selecting "AliExpress platform" in the backend and completing the account binding.
"PingPong was originally founded with the intention of helping sellers realize their dreams of global trade in a safe and convenient manner. This is also one of the important prerequisites for facilitating the cooperation between AliExpress and PingPong," said Lu Shuai, Co-founder of PingPong.
This collaboration not only marks AliExpress' first payment partnership with an external partner but also demonstrates Alibaba's determination to foster open and win-win industry ecosystem partnerships. Both parties hope to join hands to optimize products and expand service boundaries to support Chinese sellers in reaching a broader global market and accelerating Chinese brand globalization, Lu added.
