BEIJING, July 10 (Xinhua) --Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) signed on July 7 a contract with the Federation of Belgian Diamond Bourses to conduct all-round cooperation, Shanghai’s commercial authorities said.
Previously, the SDE and the Federation of Belgian Diamond Bourses have already boasted frequent trade exchanges and close cooperative relations.
According to this contract, SDE will promote the participation of Belgian companies in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) and help Belgian diamond brands tap into Chinese market.
The two sides also agreed to establish a long-term and effective exchange and visit mechanism and strengthen cooperation in technical fields in a bid to promote all-round and in-depth cooperation in the diamond industry and advance the stable and healthy development of the global diamond industry chain.(Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
