BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Hua'an County in the city of Zhangzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province, on June 25 launched an activity in Beijing to recruit global musicians interested in promoting the culture of Tulou, a unique residential architecture in the province.

The campaign was launched during a fair themed with cultural and tourism promotion of Hua'an County, as well as online and offline exhibitions of the county's featured products.

By recruiting professional musicians, bands and performers to voluntarily create and showcase music or dance that interpret Tulou culture, the county is looking to organize a series of events including art festival of Tulou culture, as well as exhibitions, concerts and music festivals featuring Tulou music.
Besides, volunteers participating in the creation and performance through these events, along with global musicians with significant social influence are likely to be invited to serve as spokespersons of Hua'an County, bringing the cultural image of the county to the world.

Through these measures, the county is committed to gathering talented musicians from around the world and establishing a global communication platform of music and arts featuring cultural heritage, so as to enhance the recognition and appreciation of the art and cultural heritage of Tulou at a global level.
