BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- A launching ceremony on the exhibitor applications and a signing ceremony for exhibitors of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Monday.
As the 6th CIIE begins its 138-day countdown, the 7th CIIE has started accepting exhibitor applications, said Sun Chenghai, deputy director of the CIIE Bureau at the ceremony.
A total of 25 enterprises signed contracts or MoUs concerning the exhibition at the 7th CIIE, with contracted exhibition area exceeding 10,000 square meters. Many enterprises including L'Oreal, BSH Household Appliances, AirNutri, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and PwC have signed up for the CIIE for seven straight years.
The 6th and 7th CIIE are scheduled to be held in Shanghai, China, from Nov. 5 to 10 in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
