BEIJING, May 22 (Xinhua) -- China Development Bank, one of the country's policy banks, has stepped up financial support to help deepen China-Central Asia cooperation.
The policy bank has set up a special loan of 10 billion yuan (about 1.43 billion U.S. dollars) to support projects between China and Central Asian countries in the fields of economy and trade, investment, transportation, agriculture, energy and resources, and infrastructure, among others.
Central Asia was one of the first regions where China Development Bank launched international operations.
By the end of 2022, the policy bank had supported 134 projects in the five Central Asian countries in fields including energy and resources, infrastructure, and transportation.
