BEIJING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- Xifeng Liquor, a Baijiu brand of China's reputed liquor maker Xifeng Group, entered the list of the 50 most popular and favored Chinese brands for foreigners on the 2023 China Brand Day gala held in Shanghai on May 10.
Xifeng Liquor was voted into the list for the second time thanks to the favor and attention from overseas consumers and its high-end brand development and core products crafting strategies as well.
The list represents winners of the one month-long online voting activity of "Give a Like for My Favorite China's Brands (2022-2023)" jointly hosted by Xinhua News Agency's National Brands Project, China Economic Information Service, China Today magazine and China.org.cn to better shape the image of China's brands.
In recent years, China's brands have grown rapidly and many Chinese brands become influential in terms of popularity around the world.
For Baijiu industry, concentration ratio has been improving and consumption tends to be more and more concentrated among the mainstream brands and main products.
In face of the opportunities brought by the times, Xifeng Liquor, with a time-honored history and unique brewing techniques, poured great efforts to advance development of higher quality and stepped up its efforts to go global to bring the famous Chinese Baijiu to more consumers around the world.
Also being an active participator of the Belt and Road Initiative, Xifeng Group took part in many high-end cooperation and communication activities such as the Thousand Miles on the Silk Road - the Brand Journey and NEXT Summit for multiple times to seek similarities between Chinese and foreign culture and speed up its globalization drive.
In 2022, Xifeng Group was invited to visit the embassies of Portugal and Luxembourg in China to share with them the traditional Chinese culture with Baijiu as the bridge. The Chinese Baijiu was also the designated liquor for the sixth NEXT Summit and was permanently collected by museums in Indonesia.
Apart from advancing globalization through culture exchanges, Xifeng Group accelerated its internationalization progress through aligning related standards of its own with comparable international ones.
The Chinese Baijiu maker has now realized full-process supervision and makes every Xifeng Liquor product traceable through establishing the brewing raw grain base and implementing the international 7S and 10S on-site management.
