BEIJING, May 7 (Xinhua) -- China's road logistics price index edged down last week, industry data shows.
The index came in at 1,025.62 points in the week ending May 5, dropping 1.29 percent over a week earlier, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group.
The growth of road logistics demand was slower in this period, while the supply was comparatively sufficient, says the survey.
It forecasts a mild increase in the index after the five-day-long May Day holiday, which ended on May 3.
