BEIJING, April 21(Xinhua) -- With ultra-low sulfur, good welding performance and excellent low temperature impact resistance, Baogang Group 32,000 tonnes of X65M hot-rolled coil(HRC)steel recently won the bid for Türkiye's Sakarya gas field pipeline transportation project in the Black Sea, marking the first time that Baogang Group products are exported to Türkiye.
The Sakarya gas field is the largest natural gas field in Türkiye. In June 2022, Türkiye laid a gas pipeline connecting its energy base in the Black Sea with onshore facilities in the Sakarya gas field, planning to deliver 10 million cubic meters of natural gas per day from the Sakarya gas field to Türkiye's national transmission system.
Thanks to efforts in recent years, Baogang Group has stood the test of fierce market competition, and finally signed the steel export contract. All its products under the contract are scheduled to be shipped from Tianjin Port to Türkiye at the end of May this year.
