BEIJING, April 14 (Xinhua) -- The 109th China Food and Drinks Fair (CFDF) will be held from October 12 to 14 this year in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.
CFDF is a national level annual trade fair which has been running since 1955, and is considered as the largest and most influential trade fair in China’s food and alcohol industry.
Beginning from 2011, CFDF is held twice annually. Chengdu is a permanent venue for every spring session, and the venue for the fall session is selected among major cities in China.
The 108th CFDF, which kicked off on Wednesday in Chengdu, will receive more than 6,500 companies from over 40 countries and regions in an exhibition area of nearly 320,000 square meters. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
