BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Gems of Guizhou, a comprehensive business platform, on Saturday unveiled its brick-and-mortar Guangdong flagship in Guangzhou city.
Located in Liwan District, the 1,500-square-meter flagship gathers 183 enterprises from Guizhou Province and offers an up-close experience of their 687 products featuring Guangdong-Guizhou cooperation, cultural tourism, intangible cultural heritage, digital economy, local speciality and foreign trade.
The Guangzhou exhibition store is one of a few showrooms launched by the Department of Commerce of southwest China's Guizhou Province, in cities across the country such as Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Dongguan, Huizhou, Foshan and Zhongshan. Integrating functions including product promotion, display, consumer experience, brand promotion, sales and business matchmaking, the exhibition stores aim to further boost sales of Guizhou agricultural products, consolidate the results of poverty alleviation, and advance rural vitalization in Guizhou Province.
Co-guided by the Department of Commerce of Guizhou Province and Yuexiu Group, the Guangzhou flagship is set to act as the bridge between Guangdong and Guizhou to further boost provincial cooperation and beyond, according to an unnamed source.
It is noted that Guizhou plans to construct cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouses, joining existing e-platforms and warehouses in and out of Guizhou, to establish multi-layered supply and sales channel for Guizhou products.
