BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- China-made flexible manufacturing machines (FMMs) such as printing equipment and laser cutters are popular in overseas markets, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.
In the first week of March, overseas demands, mainly from the United States and Southeast Asian countries, for China's homegrown FMMs on Alibaba.com increased over 50 percent year on year, according to data from the online business-to-business (B2B) marketplace for global wholesalers under the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group.
During the week, overseas search for direct-to-film (DTF) printers on Alibaba.com surged 186 percent year on year.
Chinese branded laser machines ranked one of the top ten China-made products favored by overseas consumers last year, with the number of global buyers growing 51.1 percent year on year.
