BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The first beer festival named after the Chinese beer brand Tsingtao in Kenya kicked off recently in the capital of Nairobi, attracting 1,000-odd local people and media to participate in the event.
The first Kenya Tsingtao Beer Festival highlighted beer tasting and a variety of cultural and sports activities, including traditional Chinese and Kenyan art shows, pop music performances, and a football match.
Founded in 1903, Tsingtao Brewery (600600.SH), owner of the Tsingtao beer brand, has exported its products to more than 120 countries and regions.
