BEIJING, March 10 (Xinhua) -- The 2023 Chinese Industrial Products Exhibition kicked off in Abu Dhabi, capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Tuesday.
The three-day event was organized by the China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone, attracting over 50 enterprises and organizations from both China and the UAE, which would bring the latest achievements and products from the fields of self-driving, 3D printing, space exploration and smart manufacturing to the exhibition.
The industrial products exhibition has displayed the achievements of China-UAE capacity cooperation. In the future, China will encourage more Chinese enterprises to seek opportunities in the UAE, according to Zhang Yiming, Chinese Ambassador to the UAE.
Abdullah Al Hameli, head of the Economic Cities and Free Zones at AD Ports Group, said that the number of Chinese investors in Abu Dhabi have seen rapid growth in recent years, and pledged that his group will provide full support to Chinese firms with their production and logistics.
The exhibition is the first of its kind organized by the demonstration zone, aiming to provide a platform for communications between Chinese enterprises and the market of the Gulf region, said Zhu Xinbao, general manager of China Jiangsu International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group, Ltd., which is responsible for the demonstration zone project.
