Shenzhen Stock Exchange, UK's LSEG ink co-op MoU

Abstract : Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), one of China's major stock bourses, and UK's London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) online on Tuesday to enhance cooperation, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.

BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) -- Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), one of China's major stock bourses, and UK's London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) online on Tuesday to enhance cooperation, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.

The two sides will work together to enhance collaboration in areas such as issuance and listing of depository receipts through Stock Connect program, joint development of indices and products, cross-border investment and financing services, and market development, according to the MoU.

Previously, the two exchanges have carried out practical cooperation in personnel training and exchange, joint market promotion, cross-border investment and financing docking, product and business research. (Edited by Su Dan with Xinhua Silk Road, sudan@xinhua.org)
