BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- As it is getting warmer in recent days, plum blossoms are in full bloom in the Chengnan forest park located in Xuecheng District of Zaozhuang City, east China's Shandong Province, creating a refreshing and stunning spring scenery.
The beautiful plum blossom further warms up the tourism sector of Xuecheng District, which saw nearly 760,000 tourist arrivals during the Spring Festival holiday and raked in 304 million yuan of tourism income.
In mid-February, the district launched four boutique tourism routes suitable for tourists of different ages seeking to learn about the history, culture and traditions of Xuecheng, admire rural scenery, enjoy leisure and recreation, and visit red tourism sites or historical sites with a revolution legacy.
In 2023, Xuecheng District will continue boosting recovery of local tourism by taking measures such as mounting characteristic cultural and tourism campaigns, launching diverse tourism products and propelling tourism-related consumption.
