BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- China's road logistics price index saw a year-on-year increase in January 2023, industry data showed.
The index stood at 104 in January, up 3.5 percent year on year, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group.
The figure edged up 0.92 percent month on month in January, thanks to rising market demand boosted by strengthened economic recovery momentum in January, said the survey.
The survey is upbeat about the future performance of the road logistics sector, noting that the economic recovery has a sound foundation and that the implementation of policies to stabilize the economy will continue to have a positive effect.
The index is likely to rise amid fluctuations in the future, according to the survey.
