ISTANBUL, Jan 30 (Xinhua) --Soon after China downgraded its management of COVID-19 and facilitated the smooth and orderly cross-border travel, Türkiye started to see arrivals of Chinese tourists to spend the Lunar New Year holiday.
After hosting over 420,000 Chinese tourists in 2019, Türkiye had initially projected to attract nearly 1 million by the end of 2020. However, most activities were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, with well-known Turkish hospitality, the country welcomes Chinese travelers again in the Year of the Rabbit.
