BEIJING, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) – A service team from the State Grid Hengyang Power Supply Company in central China's Hunan Province, recently visited residents of Banqiao Village, Banshi Township, Hengyang County-level city, aiming to guarantee residents with electricity safety during the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday.
As the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday approaches, migrant workers from Hengyang are returning home to reunite with their families. State Grid Hengyang Power Supply Company developed detailed measures to ensure residents' electricity consumption and safety during the holiday.
Specifically, while checking all kinds of electricity safety hazards for residents, the company also guides residents to access the relevant services of State Grid via mobile apps.
It is noted that since January, the State Grid Hengyang Power Supply Company has visited a total of more than 4000 households, with a total of 2,000 new meters installed for residents, which will further ensure the safety of residents during the holiday peak of electricity consumption.
