BEIJING, BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- China has 2,121 high-end manufacturing companies listed in its A-share markets as of December 10, 2022, up 69.7 percent from the figure of 1,250 at the end of 2017 and accounting for 65 percent of the total A-share listed manufacturing firms, according to a white paper released by China Association for Public Companies on Monday.
The document on China's A-share listed high-end manufacturing companies for 2022 also tells that there are 3,313 A-share listed manufacturing firms, accounting for 65.5 percent of the total listed companies.
Listed high-end manufacturing companies raked in a total income of 27.51 trillion yuan from overseas business in 2021, nearly doubling the income of 13.77 trillion yuan in 2017 and accounting for 23 percent of the their total income.
Benefiting from the development of high-end manufacturing sector, China's exported commodities are gradually changing from labor-intensive goods to advanced manufacturing products with high added value. High-end manufacturing products represented by electronics, electrical equipment, passenger cars and parts, and machinery manufacturing occupy an increasingly larger proportion in the total exports.
