BEIJING, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- A yeast product expansion project of Angel Yeast Egypt in Egypt started construction on Wednesday.
It is learned that the project is undertaken by China National Chemical Engineering No. 16 Construction Co., Ltd., with a construction period of 17 months, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in May 2024.
After the completion of the project, the total production capacity of the company's yeast products in Egypt will reach 60,000 tonnes per year.
Angel Yeast Egypt, invested and established by China Angel Yeast was established in March 2010. The factory is located in Beni Suef city, south of Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and currently has an annual output capacity of 40,000 tonnes of yeast products.
