BEIJING, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Shepo Town of Guiping City in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has handled a surging amount of yuba, a kind of food that dried bean milk cream in tight rolls this year.
It is noted that the town now has two yuba export enterprises, with annual export volume of nearly 1,500 tonnes worth more than 50 million yuan.
"In 2021, our factory exported more than 360 tonnes of yuba worth 1.87 million dollars while this year orders increased by ten percent year on year, and more than 120 employees are working hard to meet the deadline," said Wei Dongtian, head of Tiantian Food Products Factory in the town.
At present, the town has a total of more than 1,300 yuba production enterprises and family processing workshops, with a daily output of more than 50 tonnes and annual output value of more than 600 million yuan.
