BEIJING, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Loaded with daily necessities and electronic products worth over 13 million yuan, four freight trucks departed from Shenyang comprehensive bonded area in northeast China's Liaoning Province on Tuesday for Moscow, Munich and London, reported Chinanews.com.
The departure of the trucks marked the launch of the first China-Europe road freight services in the bonded area.
The opening of road freight services has provided a new transport option for import and export goods, which is an effective complement to air, sea and railway transportation, said Xiao Xiang, deputy director of the management committee of the Seashore Economical Area of Shenyang.
Xiao said that in the future, the comprehensive bonded area will carry out more import and export business through road freight.
