BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- In recent years, State Grid Hunan has improved the "access to electricity" services, continued to optimize the business environment in terms of power supply and provided strong support for Hunan's economic and social development.
In recent years, State Grid Hunan signed strategic cooperation agreements with cities and prefectures across Hunan province, and carried out special action for three consecutive years, and implemented them to help promote Hunan's high-quality development.
It is learned from 2019 to 2021, State Grid Hunan saw cumulative investment of 67.514 billion yuan, the power supply capacity of county distribution networks increased by 18 percent compared to that of the end of 2018. The company handled hydropower peak capacity reaching a record high of 12 million kilowatts, successfully meeting the challenge of 40.43 million kilowatts of summer power consumption this summer.
In 2021, Changsha's "access to electricity" indicator was rated by the National Development and Reform Commission as the "most improved indicator" of its business environment, entering the listof national excellence, which is a vivid practice of State Grid Hunan's effort of optimizing the business environment.
In order to quickly respond to customers' demands for electricity, State Grid Hunan launched a series of mobile applications, providing 24-hour access to services including fault reporting, power expansion, and electricity bill payment,thus realizing the online operation of the entire power supply service process.
