BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Underground Grand Canyon, a unique and super-large karst cavern located in Linyi City of east China's Shandong Province, is gaining popularity among travelers at home and abroad in particular the rafting lovers by its unique karst cave rafting.
Being 6,100 meters long, the karst cavern born from 230 million to 65 million years ago has 3,100 meters of developed areas and the longest karst cave rafting in China certificated by Shanghai China Records Headquarters.

Within the Underground Grand Canyon, there are more than 100 stalactite landscapes of different shapes and water sceneries, including one river, three springs, five waterfalls, and five stalactite palaces.

Among them, the "nine dragons palace" is a scenic spot with a magnificent dragon-head-looking stalactite poking out of the sub-cave and overlooking the climate.
As an AAAAA-class scenery zone in China, the Underground Grand Canyon, a subterranean canyon-like karst cave which contains cliffs resembling ones cut by knives and is extremely different in width alongside its stretch, is considered as one of the best rafting places in China.
