BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Located at Yinan County of Linyi City in east China's Shandong Province, Hutou Town has been growing apples for more than 60 years. In recent years, the town has promoted new fertilizer technologies for cultivating apples, and launched multiple measures to promote the high-quality development of the apple industry. More than 4,000 acres of apple planting lands (about 2.67 square kilometers) have become major income source of local farmers in Hutou Town.
