BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The consortia formed by the subsidiaries of China's leading train maker CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC, 601766.SH) and overseas companies have won the tenders of a number of overseas projects, reported Shanghai Securities News Monday quoting CRRC.
According to CRRC, the consortium formed by CRRC (Hong Kong) Co. Limited and CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd., two wholly-owned subsidiaries of CRRC, and MOTAMOTA-ENGIL Mexico Co., Ltd. has been awarded the tenders of the line 4, 5 and 6 projects in Monterrey, Mexico, with the total contract value estimated to be about 10.8 billion yuan.
CRRC (Hong Kong) Co. Limited and CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., Ltd. will be responsible for the subcontracting of mechanical and electrical systems and vehicles.
The consortium formed by CRRC (Hong Kong) Co. Limited and MOTAMOTA-ENGIL Mexico Co., Ltd. won the bid for the line 4 light rail project in Guadalajara, Mexico, and the contract value is estimated to be about 15.8 billion yuan. CRRC (Hong Kong) Co. Limited will be responsible for the subcontracting of mechanical and electrical systems and vehicles.
The consortium formed by CRRC (Hong Kong) Co. Limited, MOTA-ENGIL ENGENHARIA E CONS TRUCAOS.A. SUCURSAL COLOMBIA and MOTA-ENGIL Colombia Co., Ltd. won the bid for the 80 avenue light rail project in Medellin, Colombia with an estimated contract value of about 3.7 billion yuan. CRRC (Hong Kong) Co. Limited will be responsible for the subcontracting of mechanical and electrical systems and vehicles.
