BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- China Eastern Airlines plans to gradually resume a number of international routes as of the end of October, including those from Hangzhou to Tokyo and Qingdao to Dubai, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Security News reported on Monday.
It is learned that the airline is set to increase its weekly international flights to 108 on 42 routes as of October 30.
In November, the airline will also resume and increase the flying frequencies on such routes as those from Hangzhou to Manila and Kunming to Ho Chi Minh.
Since July this year, the airline has gradually resumed a number of international routes such as Hangzhou to Manila and Hangzhou to Kuala Lumpur. As of mid-October, the airline has 54 overseas flights on about 25 routes per week. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
