Hohhot, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- The rail transit lines 1&2 in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, recently entered the spotlight after winning the Gold Winner of MUSE Design Awards 2022 for public art design.

Reviewed by 110 judges from 38 countries, the design swept over 6,000 entries from over 100 countries and regions around the world.
Put into operation on Dec. 29, 2019, the Rail Transit Line 1 was the first metro line in Hohhot, running between Yili Health Valley and Bayan (Airport). The first phase of Line 2 was opened on Oct. 1, 2020, which runs from Aershan Road in the south to Talidong in the north.

The MUSE Design Awards is created by the International Awards Associate (IAA), which aims to promote excellence in various creative and design industries by providing a platform for professionals to compete against their peers.
