BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese consumer electronics company Hisense and electric car maker NIO on Tuesday signed a strategic cooperation agreement to work together in multiple sectors including new energy vehicle (NEV), overseas market expansion and home appliances procurement, reported China Securities Journal.
The two sides have agreed to combine each other's strengths and engage in comprehensive cooperation in specific NEV-related fields such as automotive air conditioning systems, automotive thermal management systems, intelligent transportation, vehicle-road coordination, new display and multimedia technology products, among others.
The all-round cooperation between the two parties is expanded based on the platform of Sanden, an automotive electronics brand under Hisense. As a leading supplier of automotive air conditioning systems, Sanden mainly serves world-class customers such as Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, with its products widely used in the NEV field globally.
For the next step, the two sides are committed to achieving win-win development through expanding in-depth cooperation in related sectors including smart city, smart community, smart home, display, big data, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and so on.
