BEIJING, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Hohhot, the capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, launched earlier this week a campaign to resume construction of uncompleted projects and operation of unused projects before the end of 2023 to boost local economy.
A work plan has been mapped out for the campaign to guide industry authorities and sub-local governments to thoroughly survey projects of such types invested by local and sub-local governments, said Hai Ying, head of the city's housing and urban-rural development bureau.
Divided into three phrases, the campaign requires establishment of a list of such projects before the end of August, formulation of work plans for each of the included projects before September 30 and intensive treatment of the projects from October 2022 to the end of 2023.
The campaign, helpful to reduce local idle assets, aims at activating projects that meet related conditions before the end of this year and resuming construction or operation of all related projects before the end of 2023. (Edited by Duan Jing With Xinhua Silk Road, duanjing@xinhua.org)
