MILAN, Aug 11 (Class Editori) — On August 10, 2022, the second special flight for the current summer season planned by the Italian Embassy in Beijing and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CCIC) landed in Nanjing. The charter flight, departed from Milan Malpensa airport, brought back to China 300 passengers, mainly Italian managers and entrepreneurs.
The organization was an intensive team effort that aims at facilitating the flights between Italy and China, which are still affected by the ongoing pandemic, favoring work trips or family visits within our business community.
As revealed in a survey carried out by CCIC in July, which aimed at evaluating the business sentiment of Italian companies working in China, one of the major problems was the mobility, affecting 40% of respondents.
It is a figure in compliance with the survey carried out in April of the same year, confirming that the difficulties in our business community in terms of mobility continue to have a non-negligible impact on Italian business in China.
Following this special flight, another charter is planned for September, closing the operation launched for the third consecutive year by the Italian Embassy and CCIC, which has so far contributed to transferring almost 2,000 passengers.
CCIC also signed two different agreements with Neos airline and thanks to them our partners will have pre-emption rights on purchasing tickets for commercial flights departing weekly from Milan to Tianjin and Nanjing and vice versa.
