BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- A total of 100 new energy buses of Foton Motor, a Beijing-headquartered commercial vehicle manufacturer, were loaded on board at the port of North China's Tianjin Municipality Monday, heading for Chile, South America, reported Chinanews.com.
The loading was handled by Tianjin Port Group Global Ro-RoTerminal Company, which also sets a new record for the number of new energy bus of domestic independent brand export from Tianjin Port.
Since 2022, the company has been actively responding to the country's new energy development strategy, constantly improving and optimizing the domestic and international shipping routes network, giving full play to the advantages of the RO-RO routes for foreign trade, making every effort to support domestic automobile enterprises go to overseas markets.
For the characteristics of the Foton new energy buses exported this time, the Global Ro-RoTerminal Company has formulated a special plan for bus loading, which effectively avoided the rubs and successfully completed the loading.
In the future, the company will continue to serve the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and help domestic new energy vehicles to achieve faster expansion in overseas markets.
