HEFEI, July 25 (Xinhua) -- East China's Anhui Province saw its gross domestic product (GDP) grow 3 percent year on year in the first half of 2022, hitting 2.17 trillion yuan (about 321.3 billion U.S. dollars), according to local statistics authorities.
The added value of the province's primary, secondary and tertiary industries respectively totaled 127.88 billion yuan, 939.28 billion yuan, and nearly 1.11 trillion yuan in the first six months, up by 5 percent, 3.8 percent, and 2.1 percent.
Anhui also saw robust foreign trade growth during the period.
The province's total import and export value hit 367.58 billion yuan from January to June, up 13.7 percent year on year. Its exports rose 18.3 percent to 220.12 billion yuan, and its imports increased 7.4 percent to 147.46 billion yuan.
