BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) -- The Tashan scenic area, located in Yantai city, east China's Shandong Province, has been on a fast track of tourism recovery despite the adverse impact of COVID-19 epidemic.
The Tashan scenic area, which is exploited by Tashan Group and once crowded with tourists from across the country, has been hit by the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
In response to the requirements of the country’s epidemic prevention and control policy, the scenic spot had to be closed many times, said Cao Changhong, chairman of Tashan Group.
However, Tashan Group made efforts to strengthen infrastructure, enhance service functions, accelerate industrial integration, enrich product supply, and improve service quality in an attempt to speed up the tourism recovery of the Tashan scenic area.
As a private enterprise, Tashan Group has taken multiple measures to participate in and support the country's epidemic prevention and control work, and at the same time resume production and operation in an orderly manner, according to Cao.
