BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Co-hosted by China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, People's Government of Rizhao and Shandong Port Group, a seminar themed on serving the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin was held recently in Rizhao, east China's Shandong Province.
During the seminar, an electronic warehouse receipt comprehensive service platform of Shandong Port Group was officially launched. Combining advanced technologies such as blockchain, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), the platform provides high-credit, online electronic warehouse receipts for port goods.
Besides, by using online inventory management, the platform provides one-stop solutions to bulk commodity trading, delivery, settlement, warehousing, risk management and etc.
Facing great opportunities presented by a series of major strategies focusing on ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin, Shandong Port Group has innovated customs clearance mode and continues to optimize the route network and the layout of inland ports, so as to promote all-round integration and drive local economic and social development along the river and coastal areas.
The convening of this seminar will further enhance in-depth cooperation between Shandong Port Group, Rizhao City and areas along the Yellow River, thus forming a resultant force in ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.
