TBILISI, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Georgia exported a record value of 400 million U.S. dollars of goods to China in the first half of 2022, making China its top export market, according to the country's state statistics office on Tuesday.
From January to June, Georgia's exports to China rose 38 percent year on year, one of the fastest among major trade partners, said the office in a report.
Azerbaijan and Russia followed with 287 million U.S. dollars and 256 million U.S. dollars, respectively, on Georgia's top export destination list in the first six months.
Data also showed that during the period, Georgia's exports volume amounted to 2.56 billion U.S. dollars, 35.6 percent higher than the same period last year.
