BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- The 2nd RCEP(Shandong) Import Expo will be held in Linyi city of east China's Shandong province from August 19 to 21 this year, said local media.
Co-hosted by the People's Government of Linyi, Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government, the expo will set up three pavilions, including RCEP International Pavilion, RCEP Brand Pavilion and RCEP Quality Products Pavilion, with a total exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, equivalent to 1,200 international standard booths.
Meanwhile, a series of supporting events such as Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs) Forum, 2022 RCEP(Shandong) International Cooperation and Exchange Meeting, the 2nd RCEP Live Broadcasting Purchasing Meeting for RCEP Featured Products, Linyi Import Commodities Purchasing Festival, Investment and Promotion Event will also be held.
The first RCEP(Shandong) Import Expo was held from October 20 to 22 of 2021, attracting participation of 508 companies from 53 countries and regions, with a total of 41,000 visitors, including 16,000 professional buyers. The first expo witnessed on-site transaction volume hitting 215 million yuan, while the intended transaction volume reached 721 million yuan.
