BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhua) -- The 2022 Hunan International General Aviation Industry Expo is scheduled to be held from August 31 to September 4 in the cities of Changsha and Zhuzhou of central China's Hunan Province, according to a press conference on Tuesday.
Themed around how general aviation leads to better life, the expo will focus on the reform of low-altitude airspace management, as well as new business forms, development trends, policies, technologies and systems in the low-altitude economy.
The expo also includes an exhibition at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, which is planned to cover a total area of 70,000 square meters with sections including general aviation manufacturing, general aviation application and unmanned aerial vehicle.
Renowned air show teams will put on professional performances at Zhuzhou Lusong Airport during the expo, displaying various scenarios of general aircraft application.
The 2021 expo, which was also the first edition, gathered 317 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions. The event attracted more than 200,000 visitors and saw 46 cooperation projects signed with a contract value of 20.86 billion yuan (about 3.11 billion U.S. dollars).
