BEIJING, June 22 (Xinhua) -- XPeng Motors, a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) company, announced on Tuesday that it has officially delivered over 200,000 vehicles as of this week, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.
Since the delivery of the first model on December 12, 2018, the car maker has constantly improved its production capacity.
As a new-generation flagship product, the XPeng G9, equipped with the next-generation intelligent assisted driving platform, is expected to be officially unveiled and put into large-scale production in the third quarter of this year.
In addition to new car products, XPeng Motors will also release its navigation guided pilot for urban driving after obtaining relevant approvals, and it will gradually expand to more cities in China. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
