BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Cainiao Network, the logistics arm of China's Alibaba Group, will build two digital and intelligent express distribution centers in Karachi and Lahore of Pakistan by the end of September 2022 for Daraz, a South Asian e-commerce platform, reported China Securities Journal quoting the company.
When finished, the centers will be among the most intelligent express infrastructure in Pakistan and even South Asia.
At present, Cainiao has built hundreds of automatic distribution centers of different scales in China. It has also built nine self-run national-level distribution centers in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The project in Pakistan is its first deeply integrated distribution project in South Asia.
