BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Inventronics (Hangzhou), Inc. (Inventronics, 300582.SZ), an LED driver manufacturer based in Hangzhou of east China's Zhejiang Province, has recently announced that it plans to acquire global lighting giant OSRAM's digital systems business unit focusing on lighting components, reported Shanghai Securities News Wednesday.
According to the announcement, the digital systems business unit engages in producing various indoor and outdoor LED drivers, LED modules, LED light engines, electronic control devices, etc., and providing customers with customized, intelligent and integrated overall lighting control systems.
Inventronics intends to finish the acquisition with its own funds and funds raised by means of bank loans, etc.
The transaction is expected to constitute a major asset restructuring. After the acquisition, Inventronics will have a complete product sequence involving products of various power and types.
