BEIJING, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Chinese automaker JAC Motors (600418.SH) saw its car sales surge by 29.12 percent on month in May to 35,400 units, reported Xinhua Finance on Tuesday.
By the end of May, the company's total car sales reached 192,100 units this year. Meanwhile, its sales of purely electric passenger cars and export businesses realized positive year-on-year growth.
It is believed that the implementation of policies like purchase tax reduction and the release of new car models will inject impetus to the performance of JAC Motors.
