BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) released a plan on Tuesday for its development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), in order to accelerate its pace in building itself into a world-class exchange, reported Shanghai Securities News on Wednesday.
According to the plan, by 2025, SSE will complete the reform of the registration system for stock issuance with information disclosure at its core, promote key institutional innovation, and create a standardized, transparent, open, dynamic and resilient capital market.
The plan specifies 11 key tasks to promote the development of SSE, including advancing the reform of the registration system for stock issuance, promoting high-quality development of the stock market, healthy development of the bond market, and innovation in products and trading mechanisms, etc.
