BEIJING, May 19 (Xinhua) -- The 2022 China-Africa Online B2B Matchmaking Conference was held in Changsha, capital city of central China's Hunan Province on Tuesday, aiming to help more high-quality products from Africa to enter the Chinese market, according to Li Xinqiu, deputy director of Hunan's department of commerce.
The conference attracted more than 180 enterprises from 10 African countries and over 150 Chinese enterprises engaged in trade with Africa to participate in the event.
More than 200 rounds of online consultations were completed during the conference.
Export products of the participating African enterprises include bulk agricultural products, oil crops and processed products, and plant cash crops, like palm oil, coffee, red wine, corn, gemstones, and manganese ore.
Chinese purchasers and African enterprises were matched in advance according to their supply and demand, thereby enabling high-quality and efficient cooperation. (Edited by Su Dan with Xinhua Silk Road, sudan@xinhua.org)
