HOHHOT, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has in recent years continuously streamlined administration and delegated power in efforts to optimize the business environment and push high-quality development, reported local media Monday.
It is learned Hohhot has established a standardized government service platform, covering a total of 11,525 government service items to allow citizens, enterprises and other market entities complete approval procedures efficiently.
In order to improve government service efficiency, the city has innovated institutional mechanisms and streamlined administration.
For example, the local government has optimized the single-window model, implemented internet plus government services, and promoted the integration of online and offline handling channels, which has helped realize the goal of government services being done in one place within one time.
With these measures in place, the city has significantly enhanced the efficiency of handling the government affairs. In a business environment evaluation compiled by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2020, the city ranked second in the region.
Data of the local statistics bureau showed that the city saw the fixed asset investment in the firs two months of this year jump 186.5 percent year-on-year. The figure reflects Hohhot's achievements in improving the business environment.
