BEIJING, April 13 (Xinhua) -- 70 percent of the planned exhibition area at the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) has already been booked, People's Daily reported on Tuesday.
The preparations for the 5th CIIE are well underway with active registrations from exhibitors, said Liu Fuxue, deputy director of the CIIE Bureau.
The CIIE is the first dedicated import exhibition in the world and has seen fruitful outcomes in the past four expos. The 5th CIIE is slated to be held in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10 this year. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
