BEIJING, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Baogang Group International Economic and Trading Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baogang Group located in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has recently won a bid to provide 28,000 tons of steel rails for Mongolia's Zuunbayan-Khangi railway construction.
Aiming to promote its participation in the Belt and Road Initiative, the company had been working closely with the construction department to provide customized solutions, sealing the procurement deal of all steel rails of the project from Baogang Group.
The 280-kilometer railway construction project from Zuunbayan to Khangi is one of the major projects of the Mongolian government this year. As the border point of Khangi is the second largest mineral exporting port of Mongolia, the railway, upon completion, will become a new channel for mineral export of the country.
