BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- China's road logistics price index remained basically flat in March from a year ago, industry data showed.
The index came in at 100.3 last month, up 2.03 percent on a monthly basis, according to a survey jointly conducted by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and a Chinese logistics company.
The sub-index for full truckload logistics price mainly measuring bulk commodity and regional transportation stood at 100.8 in the period, rising 1.98 percent from February and edging up 0.03 percent year on year.
Demand for road transportation saw a decline, driven by multiple factors including the sporadic resurgence of COVID-19 and geopolitical conflicts, according to the survey.
China's road logistics price index is based on the average price in the last week of December 2012, with the monthly index starting point at 100.
